Heavenly Strains of Pizzicati

Sheets of music aside, Maestro,
I’ve heard this made-up word

Arcosancta graces no worldly dictionary,
But this should not keep us from bowing.

  1. This piece resonates wonderfully (to my ear) with something like Browning's "A Toccata": the same evocativness, maybe the same power of music to transcend style only.

You do keep one reaching deep into classical sources, Vassilis.

  2. Conrad,

I’m pleased you like this little piece but I must confess the Browning reference took me by surprise—I was thinking more in the vein of Carl Rakosi in his "Instructions to the Player" (scroll down).
