new old kid on the blog, with an occasional old or new poem written off the old writer's block
Are you saying the only way to solve the crime is to leave the house? Who knows—one might even find there was no crime....
Well, if I was Joe Friday, I'd tell everybody involved to just stick to the facts until they found the culprit, concentrating on the suspicious reflection in the window pane!
The shoe/window/you rhyme puts this across in so economical a way even the laconic Jack Webb (Joe Friday) would have been envious."Just the facts, Ma'am."
