Lullaby of Birdland

Our darling

Sweet bird of youth
Has turned in

To a dark gray crow cawing on
A blackened limb.

  1. Hmmm,

a coincidence only? Joseph, Vassilis and I have all recently written (and posted)a poem in which a crow appears.

Either one of two explanations: (a) we've seen the same transatlantic crow or (b) the crow has seen us.

  2. Conrad,

As the crow flies (in our imaginations, too)-- it's probably both explanations!

  3. My fine feathered friends: have you seen Annie’s beautiful poem?
