speaking of "tail" and ("tale") I used in She Intrudes the letter 19 Sept 2010 from S. :
"My grandmother used to tell me the old saying, a Korean proverb: 'When the tail is long, you will get caught.'" ..... "or as we say, it will catch up to you."
that is, S continues, " Whether it's tail that is long or tale that you tell is long, you will get caught, ... ."
Well, the advantage in chasing one's own tail is that there's always an end in sight.
