Full Circle

vain

glorious immovable fool,
stand under this marble

moon long enough
and you’ll become—
what else—

a statue.

  2. The pattern recognition life of a rhyme always reminds us so many things are circling round us, were we but aware --

    fool
    don't move
    you'll

    become a statue
    to the
    moon

  3. The pattern says we have to wait till the next full moon (May 6th) to see if we are still able to move; in the meanwhile, as we wait for that momentous occasion to once again enlighten us, I want to thank you.

  4. Great Poem Vassilis. I have ended up being a statue so many times before-- trying to come up with anything.. and this is perfect!

  5. Aditya,

Well, it's well past the last full moon and we're moving towards the next phase which means it's time for me to thank you for not ending up a statue after all!
