I know you won’t believe this but I’d never heard of “Hunger Games” before you mentioned it; went straight to Google afterwards and now I know. However, wasn’t all this done way back in Minoan times when the Athenians finally got fed up with sending sacrifices to the Minotaur and asked Theseus to slay the brute?
