In The Dark No More

Your eyes are getting very heavy—
Soon the lids will shut tight

And you will enter a space full
Of light unlike the one you were in for

So long before—that one had a door,
This one has one too but

It’s never been opened before.

  1. Fascinating and evocative poem. It would be fun to get a small group together and discuss what each one gets out of this poem (after each one gets out of it). Excellent and mysterious!

  2. Excellent and mysterious comment--one more in the long line of edifying
Levy adjuncts. Perhaps the boondocks of the southern Peloponnese would be the perfect venue for this small group to convene--what say you to that?
