Reverse Arrested Development


Why is it 

My three-year-old 
Granddaughter can 
Entertain herself 

For hours on end 
With nothing save her 
Imagination when 

I try musing with that idea 
I end up with nothing 
But a dead end.

    I love the way this disproves its own false logic by ending up not with nothing but with a charming image well worth the musing over... for hours on end.

    Thanks, Tom--I, too, love the way our granddaughter entertains us; I just hope she never "grows up" into what most innocents end up as--staid, blemished adults.
