ReplyDeleteThe pun, with "leaving," is a Zambaras touch, but the rest of the poem does not seem to me to be the "usual" Zambaras poem (and in my opinion, the "usual" Zambaras poem is very fresh and is marvelous, so I am not suggesting some formulaic stale "the same thing again" poem).
I keep reading this poem and loving it.
